I've been sitting here trying to figure out how I felt about Valentine's day before I got in a relationship and frankly I don't think I ever hated or loved it! I think it's a great 'holiday' to express love for the people you care most about in your life. Just like mother's day, father's day or Christmas, it's just that one special day set aside to go above and beyond for that special someone. So whether you're spending the day with your significant other, friends, family or having a little bit of a me time, enjoy it and use this time to reminiscent about all the great love(s) you have in your life. Happy Valentine's Day!

Jupiter Sand #fentybeauty
Promise and deliver! A look at a simple makeup look I created with the Fenty Beauty Gallaxy Collection. I'm really loving this palette and it's slowly creeping into my everyday looks. I know, I know, initially when I first saw this palette and the amount of shimmer and glitter it had, I felt it was geared more towards dramatic and glamorous looks rather than an everyday wear but I've been proving wrong. My three favourite everyday shades from the palette are Meteor Crush, Sublime and Planet Ex. Just a little swatch of one of these on your lid or all three, whichever you like, gives you a very beautiful, glowy, sunkissed look. You know that instagram look where you look like you're not trying but you REALLY are. Yeaah that one!

FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna
By now everyone and their mama knows about Fenty Beauty. Hell, I blogged about the launch of their second collection last week. What I didn't/haven't done is to give my two cents on the products from the first launch. So here it goes.
Rihanna launched her first ever makeup brand on September 9th 2017 and I must say this was one of the most anticipated makeup launches ever! (well at least for me it was). The collection consists of a primer, foundation, highlighters, contours, brushes, blotting powder, blotting paper and a lip gloss. This collection isn't just one of the best makeup I've bought this year but one of the best makeup I own. The foundation is now my favourite and even though Trophy Wife may not be an every day go to, it's still to die for.

Current Go-To-Look w/ NEW Products
Good day lovelies, it's a beautiful day to talk about makeup and a fantastic week to swoon over new ones. I'm especially excited for the launch of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna this Friday, 8th September. I'm more excited to see what products she'll have available and the range of shades she'll have.

EASY SPRING MAKEUP LOOK
Okay, I have to admit I am slightly obsessed with yellow now. I do one yellow look and now all I want to do is wear yellow everytime. Mhmmm, I wonder what it looks like on the lip?! Here's another spring look with a dash of yellow. I know we've been having terrible weather here in the UK (what's new right?) but let's not let that get us down. We still can wear our flowery dresses and sandals and rock those bright coloured makeup looks on that 1 hour of sunshine we get every other Saturday. You know that one hot sunny day when everyone comes out to enjoy the sun because you never know when you're going to see it again. Yes that one!

SPRING MAKEUP LOOK | Pop of Yellow
If you bump into me this Summer, like anywhere, guaranteed I will be rocking this look. You know that your girl is all 'na-tu-ral'. I'm all all about earthly tones and nude tones, hardly do I ever wear any colour, especially on my eyes. I have one or two bright coloured looks on my blog but majority of my looks are all simple natural tones, even my super glammed up ones. Never in my life did I think to try yellow and you know what? I'm so glad I did!

WARM-TONED SMOKEY EYES | ABH
I cannot post a review of a makeup palette that I love and not give you at least one look to re-create. When I tell you I've been using this palette to death, I truly mean it. I've already hit pan on one shade and I've only had it for two months. I freaking love it! So to show you how much I love it and how much I love you (if you're wondering....I love you more 😉 ), I created this simple, fun, all occasion/all season kinna look. It's a perfect day and night look without having to fuss about with it. Plus I even gave you two different lip and hair options for when you want to wear the same look from morning to evening.

Warm, Neutral Cut Crease
Instagram is like my haven for makeup trends. Every look you can think of can be found on instagram. The Cut Crease trend has been my summer favourite and I've been wanting to try it for way too long. I usually stick to neutral colours in my 'real' life. I never wear any colour because I'm always scared of how it'll look like on me. Even on my blog I always play it save and stick to one colour if I'm doing something out of the ordinary. But I wanted to challenge myself a bit this time. I wanted to do something bold, something dramatic and I thought what best than to finally give this cut crease a go. So here it is, my take on the Cut Crease trend...

PURPLE Rain | Smokey Look
ⓢⓤⓑⓢⓒⓡⓘⓑⓔ
Purple isn't m favourite colour but it is when it comes to Smokey eye looks. This is one I created today with the Morphe Brushes 35B Palette. One of the things I love about this palette is how versatile it is. It comes with every single colour you'll need for any kind of look. Don't really have much to say about this look (first time ever!) but I do hope you like it and enjoy the rest of the pictures. One thing to remember though when you're doing smokey looks is always to start of with a lighter transition colour. So for this look I started of with a dark brown from Makeupgeek called Mocha in my crease. For my lower lash I mixed the two purple shades from the same Morphe Bushes palette (the lighter shade on my lid) and went over it with a mixture of Freshly Toasted and Substitute For Love from the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette to make sure the purple wasn't too harsh. I also applied NYX Jumbo Pencil in the shade Milk in my water line to widen my eyes and make it look a little bit bigger.

Hollywood Glam
I haven't worn red lipstick in forever and last night I felt like rocking one so I pulled out my trusty old Ruby Woo and created a classic what I like to call 'Hollywood Glam'. This look is perfect for both day and night time, weddings and proms. I'm a very simple girl so when it comes to makeup and fashion I go for the everyday kind of glam. Looks that everyone can rock.
All the colours on my eyes are from the Morphe Brushes 35O palette. This palette hands down is my favourite from Morphe Brushes. It's especially great for beginners because you have all the basic colours you need for a neutral/smokey look. One thing I must say with this look though is that you need to constantly blend the colours out. I swear after I was done, I felt my writs had a workout.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette Makeup Look
Went to Bulgaria about two weeks ago and had
such a lovely time. Great food, great weather except for Saturday when it
rained all day :( There's not really much you can do at a hotel at 8:00 at
night. So what did I do to keep me busy? I put on some JKNews and away I went
with playing with my new palette from my favourite brand - Too Faced.
Now after taking these pictures I realised how
bad I need good quality equipment for my makeup looks. I need a good quality
camera (preferably a DSLR) and some lights too because the makeup look looks
great on phone but it looks even better in person (not trying to blow my own
horns or anything but it does! lol). It's just sad that the colours don't show
up that well in these pictures. So if you're a photography major or a
photography enthusiast, comment down below and let me know what sort of cameras
and lighting system out there I can purchase on a budget ;)

Peachy Party Pink!
I'm not sure if Pink equals Spring but I've been loving this whole pink, rose gold trend that's been going on, on instagram so I decided to do my take on it. Pink Lips, nude-ish lips. Something simple and pretty. One thing I love about this look is that it's perfect for any occasion really. It's perfect for both day and night look and since Festival season, Prom season and Graduation season is just around the corner, this look will suit them all. So give it a go and let me know what you think :)
I'd also like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone that participated in my #giveaway. The giveaway is now CLOSED and I will be contacting the winner via EMAIL. If you didn't win anything this time round, don't worry because I'll be doing more giveaways in a few weeks.

Glowing Spring look with a Pop of Colour
There's so many reasons why I love Spring & Summer. First is the weather. It starts to get warmer and bright. Such a beautiful time to go for walks or lazy around the park. Second is the clothes. Who doesn't love bikinis at the beach, sunglasses and booty shorts. Another thing I really love is the endless possibilities when it comes to Makeup. It's all about bright colours and experimenting. Creating looks that you'd normally, probably not wear.
So it made more sense to create another Spring look. This has more colours than my previous spring look from last week's post. Rather than mixing lots of colours, I went with one pop of colour to make this look less overwhelming and more appropriate for people that want to incorporate more colours to their look but don't want to go overboard. This look is great for both day and night and I really hope that you try it. So let me know what you think. Is this a look you would go for? Let me know, comment down below in the comment section. I love to hear from you and I always comment back :)

FRESH SPRING LOOK ft My Lilttle Sister
Last weekend was the Easter break and I finally
got the chance to go home to Liverpool to see my family and to take some time
of work. It was really lovely to see my little sister again as I hadn't seen
her since Christmas. Because we've all now moved away from home, I don't get to
see my sisters as much as I would like.
My little sister was my first muse. She was the
first person I ever did makeup on. I did her makeup for her high school prom
and I actually really liked it (even though she now claims she hated it :P). So
I decided to do another look on her over the weekend. To celebrate the
beginning of Spring and awaiting everyone's favourite season - Summer, I went
for something bright, something fresh and of course it had to be done with my
favourite colour family - Reds. You know I'm all about the simple, easy looks.
So I went for a look that didn't require any lashes or eye liner. So if you're
not good with lashes or killer wing liners, you don't have to worry. You can
still rock this look just like my sister is and majority of the products I used are very affordable especially the eyeshadow palettes by +ZoevaCosmetics.

MY GO TO DAYTIME LOOK
So I finally got a new laptop charger and I
couldn't be happier. I can now get on track with my blogging. I've got so many
new products and looks I cannot wait to share. Plus I'm also looking into
investing in a good quality DSLR and Ring light to give my makeup looks a more
crisp, detailed, professional look. Any suggestions? Leave them in the comment
section below :)
In my previous post, I promised that I would
post more neutral, daytime-ish appropriate looks so I decided to dedicate this
post to that. I went for something simple and easy. One of my simple go to
makeup look - bold brows, copper eyes and nude lips. I do hope you guys like it
and if you do, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and come follow me on all my
social media (instagram, twitter, bloglovin').
Have a great Easter and I love you for stopping by.

Dark Dramatic Smokey Look
Ever since I broadened my makeup collection I've been forced inspired to experiment with different colours and techniques. I'm usually more of a neutral girl but as you can see from my previous posts I've had a variety of looks - blues, greens, pinks and now super black. Its always nice and refreshing to try something new so let me know what you think of this look. I will be posting some neutral looks too, for more daytime appropriate wear.
Apart from my eyes, every product I used on my face is the same as the products I mentioned in my previous makeup look. You can find the post here. The only difference is the blush and powder contour I used which is from Miss Sporty's Insta Glow Collection. I did a review on these products in my previous post.

♡ Deep Metallic Green Smokey Eye Look ♡
So since Valentine's Day is over and I'm pretty much done with the pinks and neutrals (for now), I was kind of in the mood for something different and something dark so I went with this beautiful deep metallic green makeup look. The star of the show for this look is Envy and it's one of Makeupgeek's old matte eyeshadow collection. I've had this eyeshadow for about a year now and never touched it, so I thought this was the perfect time to whip this bad boy out.

♡ SULTRY VALENTINE'S DAY LOOK ♡
I've always wanted to do a beauty/fashion related Valentine's Day post and I am happy that I got the chance to do it this year. I'm very pleased with the way this look came out and I hope you like it too. I wanted to do something simple, soft and sweet yet very beautiful and glamorous. I knew I wanted something with a pink base and most importantly I knew I wanted the Makeupgeek Duochrome eyeshadow in the shade Karma to be centre stage. So I came up with this lovely look. Keep reading for full list of products details :)
